The third printing of Kyo's music theory book "Encyclopedia of Chord Theory" was published in September 2018. Kyo appreciates all the readers, fans and Rittor Music Inc.

The music video of one of the Kyo's composition, which contains both audio and score, was published on Youtube. The videos of other works will be also published in the near future.

The recording seesion for 24 Preludes by Kyo Shimizu finished in a studion in Takaski City, Japan. The music CD that contains 24 Preludes will be released from Clockburg Records in the future.

Kyo Shimizu Music Laboratory has started its new music school. The curriculum includes composition, musicianship, music production and more. Not only studying performance skill, but also students create and record their works in the lesson. You can check the detail here.

The music video of Basketfield's new album "The Memory of Alphe" was published on YoutTube. The video includes music samples of every single tune from the album.

Basketfield, completed by the prodigious oil painter and guitarist Kotaro Toyoda, will release the first album “The Memory of Alphe” that contains 12 original tracks, including “Stray Dog” “The Dance of Pigs” and “The Memory of Alphe”on April 20 in 2018 from Clockburg Records. Now the CD is in the process of mixing and mastering.

The reservation of "Encyclopedia of Chord Theory" through Amazon became available on March 6, 2018. The release date will be April 20, 2018.

A new rock band, Basketfield's debut album photo session was done in January 2018. The band officially announced that they would release the album "The Memory of Alphe" in April 2018.

Kyo's music theory book "Encyclopedia of Chord Theory" will be published in Spring 2018 by Rittor Music. This theory book covers from basic musical idom to advanced theory such as "multi-tonic system" and "compound chord." E-book version will be released simultaneously.

Basketfield, a new rock band formed by Kyo Shimizu and former Reddyloof member, Takeshi Sakai (bass, vocal)and Hisami Knai (drumes, guitar) started recording for their first album. The band is planning to release the album in early2018.

Kyo Shimizu's new music CDs "Boston Collection" and "Waltham Collection", including his early works, will be available in Summer 2017. These CDs will be not manufactured for commercial purpose, so they will not for sale. This CDs can be distributed for musicians who study or perform these works.

Kyo Shimizu's private music laboratory was established in Takasaki, Japan on April 1st, 2017. Music composedand recorded at this lab will be released through CLOCKBURG RECORDS.
